Mat Bao takes part in the fourth open PC world badminton contest
01/01/2002
The contest shall be open 2 days on November 2 and 4, 2007 in HCM City with 12 participating teams on the spirit of exchange and construction the sport movement in IT. This contest is held by PC World Vietnam.
To encourage the participation from staff to train their team sports to improve their health, solidarity. Four years ago, PC World Vietnam built this movement, and first organized the “PC World Badminton Contest.” The contest was held for internal staff, creating the excitement and attracting more staff to participate in playing badminton later. To enhance this playground, as well as to consolidate the friendliness, the exchanges in IT, the magazine decides to expand this contest annually and invites all companies in the same sector.
The final matches of the contest are usually dramatic competitions and “neck-and-neck” between good teams. So, if any team that the players are equally good will likely win. This can be seen in the final match between FCGV and Digi-TEXX teams (male and female). For FCGV, player Tran Quoc Nam supported his partner and hit the shuttlecock well, however, the female player Nha Uyen was getting exhausted because the match lasted quite so long. While the Digi-TEXX team players Thanh Truc and Minh Hai were stronger, played equally well and pressed their rivals (hit the shuttlecock to the weak rival), kept on hitting at the end of the match and won.
Win or lose a law of every contest. Besides the spirit, however, teams bring the contest great excitement, enthusiasm and exchange spirit. The atmosphere of the two-day contest (2nd and 4th November, 2007) was exciting from the beginning to the end of the contest with different sounds produced by drums, trumpets, claps, shouts of supporters… OKI (IDC Saigon), Misa, Saigon, Saigon TEL, Mat Bao, TRG, PC World Vietnam were those who had most supporters.
The contest 2007 was closed with the joys of all teams because it contributes to make a useful playground for the circle of Information Technology and Telecommunications. We hope that the badminton movement shall continue to be enhanced among Information Technology and Telecommunications companies.
